Miles Ross is an American songwriter/musician/producer. In 2021, he broke into the film industry with his first film score for Beth de Araújo's Gotham Award-nominated film, Soft & Quiet. His next composing work can be heard in de Araújo's sophomore feature, Josephine, debuting at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
Miles composed several albums throughout the 2010s under the moniker, Psy Fi, which led to a decade of consistent global touring and record producing. His 2016 album, Totality, was accompanied by a 3-D mapped, immersive visual tour throughout the U.S. This love of electronic music, specifically emotionally driven music, drew him closer to his dream of making music for film.
Originally from rural Northern California, he was a founding member of the Whomp events collective responsible for cultivating a thriving electronic music scene that thrust Northern California into the national bass-driven music spotlight. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
